OPEN COMPETITION

Connecting players of all abilities through competition, community, and great tennis.

OPEN COMPETITION

Compete against players at your skill level every Saturday in our inclusive tournaments designed for serious recreational players.

About Open Competition

Our Mantra is to promote healthy competition being played with good sportsmanship and in good spirit.

The PTA Open Competition is played on Saturday afternoons across the Mornington Peninsula and Frankston districts, offering the perfect mix of competition and community.

Two formats are available: Open Singles (two-player teams) and Mixed Doubles (four-player teams). The competition caters for all levels of ability — from players at the top of their game to those seeking a more relaxed, social experience.

We also encourage juniors aged 16 and over to transition into Open competition as a natural next step in their tennis journey.

There’s a strong social element too, with afternoon tea provided by home clubs, creating a welcoming atmosphere both on and off the court.
